This cage holds me back, you used to slip through. You always had a way with that. Your arms would wrap around me, hold close, My cage would disintegrate, fade away.
Freedom, I was free with you. Brighter stars have never flown than on the nights you freed me. Taking me to mountainous heights, you made me believe.
I believed there was so much more out there, past these bars. You used to show me the universe, with snail-paced time, fire-played skies.
